Operations are paused.

Wolverine Arms is not currently in business and its FFL is inactive. We are not accepting orders, firearm shipments, transfers, sales, deposits, appointments, or service work. David has relocated to Boston, and there is no announced reopening date.

The operating system

Built like it mattered.

Wolverine Arms was more than a shop. It was a proof of concept for what disciplined execution, curiosity, and ownership can produce.

01

Precision before spectacle

The visual result always began with fit, function, measurement, and repeatable process.

02

Craft without a template

Each challenge invited original thinking—not another pass through a catalog of defaults.

03

Founder-level accountability

Every decision, cut, finish, and customer experience carried the founder's name and standard.

David Renna, founder of Wolverine Arms

Founder story

David Renna built the thing he wanted to exist.

“The real product was never just the finished piece. It was the standard behind it.”

Drawing on a background in law enforcement and SWAT, David founded Wolverine Arms around composure, attention to detail, and practical performance. He learned the machinery, built the process, shaped the brand, and turned technical work into a distinctive customer experience.

On the manufacturing side, David ran Haas CNC machines and built an automated workflow around a parts loader. He used CloudNC alongside Codex and ChatGPT to support automation, accelerate problem-solving, and inform AI-assisted toolpath decisions—bringing traditional machining and modern software into one founder-led system.

That chapter is currently closed. The lessons—how to build, adapt, lead, and execute—are moving forward with him in Boston.

The next chapter

Not disappearing.
Recalibrating.

There is no reopening date and no promise that Wolverine Arms will return in its previous form. What remains is a founder, a body of work, and a bias toward building ambitious things well.
